Health Check Camp at Mahendra Park, Jahangirpuri, Delhi
A free Health Check Camp was held on Sunday, 11 January 2026 at Mahendra Park, Jahangirpuri, Delhi. The main aim of the camp was to help people understand their health better, find health problems early, and learn how to stay healthy. Doctors, nurses, volunteers, and support staff worked together to provide basic health tests and medical advice to the local community.
The camp was honoured by the visit of the Hon’ble Mayor of Delhi. The Mayor met the doctors, staff, and local residents and appreciated the effort to bring healthcare services closer to the community. His visit encouraged both the team and the people who came for check-ups.
More than 110 people from Mahendra Park and nearby areas took part in the camp. People of all ages, including senior citizens, women, working adults, and young people, came for health check-ups. The good turnout showed that the community is becoming more aware of the importance of staying healthy.
Several important health services were provided free of cost. These included checking height and weight, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, bone health (bone densitometry), and eye testing. After the tests, people were able to meet doctors for medical consultation and guidance.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad, a senior eye specialist, Dr. Harmandeep Singh, a physician, were present along with the bone densitometry team. They carefully checked the test results and explained them in simple words to each person. They also gave advice on eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, managing stress, avoiding tobacco and excess alcohol, and the need for regular follow-ups. Special care was given to elderly people and those with problems like high blood pressure and diabetes.
